The amount of cryptocurrencies in the accounts of the Gemini custody service exceeded $ 10 billion


The total volume of cryptocurrency held in custody by the Gemini Custody has exceeded $ 10 billion.

Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, ZCash, 0x, Aave, Yearn.finance, Dai, Kyber Network, Maker, Enjin, Gemini Dollar, OmiseGo, PAX Gold and others are available to users.

Gemini Custody was launched in September 2019. The service allows clients to trade offline assets with instant loans.

Gemini Custody supports multisignature technology, whitelisted withdrawal addresses, additional accounts with different access levels, and also provides audit capabilities. It is operated by Gemini Trust Company, a regulated custodian.

Clients include BlockFi, CoinList, CI Global Asset Management, Eaglebrook Advisors, WealthSimple and 3iQ Digital Asset Management.

Earlier, the founders of the Gemini exchange, the Winklevoss brothers, topped the list of people whose fortune has grown significantly due to the rise in the price of cryptocurrencies. According to Forbes, the value of each cryptocurrency asset is about $ 1.4 billion.
